Community Guidelines

Version: 1.0

Hyzeer is for playing disc golf together and getting lost discs back. These rules apply to everything you add that others can see: display names, course changes, course photos, game names and found-disc messages.

Not allowed

  • Offensive names and content: insults, hate against people for who they are, sexual content, violence or threats.
  • Harassment: targeting a player, or using found-disc messages for anything other than returning a disc.
  • Impersonation: pretending to be another player, a club or Hyzeer.
  • Spam and abuse: advertising, many messages to the same label, false reports.
  • Other people's rights: photos you may not share, photos of people who can be recognised without their consent, other people's private data.
  • False course data on purpose, or false scores in public games to mislead.
  • Anything illegal.

How to report

  • A player (name or behaviour): in the ⋯ menu of their profile, Report player.
  • A game: in the game's ⋯ menu, Report game.
  • A course: in the course page's ⋯ menu, Report a problem.
  • A course photo: in the full-screen view, Report photo.
  • A found-disc message: close it as Spam.
  • Anything else, or if you have no account: write to support@hyzeer.com. Tell us what it is and where, and why you think it is illegal or breaks these rules.

Our team checks every report by hand. Reports are confidential: the reported player never learns who reported them.

How we moderate

Depending on what happened, we may:

  • remove a course photo or undo a course change,
  • replace an offensive display name,
  • stop messages to a label that gets spam, or block a finder who sends spam,
  • block an account, for serious or repeated breaches.

When we take action on your content or account, we tell you by email what we did, why, and which rule it broke. We don't use automated moderation.

See Report a problem for limits on reports.

If you disagree, reply to that email or write to support@hyzeer.com within 6 months, and someone who didn't make the first decision will look at it again. As an EU user you can also go to a certified out-of-court dispute settlement body, or to court.
