Sharing, public games and profiles

Public games

A public game can be joined by anyone, without a code. Find them on the Games tab under Public:

  • Search by game name, course or organiser.
  • Filters: playing now or starting later, game type, distance (5, 25 or 100 km), and Hide games I joined. Distance needs your location.
  • Sort: nearest, ending soon, starting soon, or most players. Without your location, games on courses you've played come first.
  • Tap Join to join without a code. A game you joined says Joined. If you left a game that is still being played, you come back with your round: Join with my round keeps your scores.

Share a game

Every game has its own page, and anyone can open it with the link, also without the app or an account. In a game, open the ⋯ menu and tap Share link to this game.

What people outside the game see:

  • The game, the course, the results and the scores.
  • Players who are private in the game appear as Player 1, Player 2, and so on, without names, throws or discs.
  • In a game with scores hidden until the end, only the list of players until the game finishes.

Players in the game see everyone's names.

To invite someone to play, share the invite code instead: it's on the game page under Share.

Profiles

Every player has a profile page, e.g. hyzeer.com/u/your-username. Tap a player's name in the results to open it. "Player N" names have no profile link.

  • Private profile (the default): only your display name and username.
  • Public profile: also your home country, when you joined, your finished games where you are public, and the discs you own: in the bag and in your collection. Nicknames, notes, and lost or retired discs are never shown.

You choose in Me → Profile settings. To see what others see, open Me → View my profile.

Games on a course

A course page has a Games tab: every game played there, newest first, with the best score. Filter by status, by layout, or My games only. Games in progress update by themselves.

Report a problem

If something is wrong or offensive, you can report it to the Hyzeer team:

  • A game: in the game's ⋯ menu, Report game.
  • A course: in the course page's ⋯ menu, Report a problem, e.g. a duplicate course.
  • A player: on their profile, Report player.

Write what is wrong in 5 to 500 characters. The team checks every report; you get no reply. You can send up to 10 reports of each kind a day, and one open report about the same player.
