The home screen

The home screen shows what matters now: your game in progress, a course near you, games you could join, and news from Hyzeer. It opens at once, also without signal, and updates when you're online. Pull down to refresh.

New game and Join game are always at the bottom of the screen.

My current games

Every game you're playing, every scheduled game you joined or own, and your drafts. Drafts come first, then games by their start time.

A game you're playing shows how far you are, e.g. Hole 7 of 18, and your total with +/- par. Tap it and you're back on the scoring screen, on the next hole without a score. Scores you enter on another phone show up here by themselves.

Without signal, the card shows the scores saved on this phone, including those still waiting to be sent.

Closest course

The course closest to you, if you allow Hyzeer to use your location. Without location, it's the course of your last game, under Your last course. If the closest course is more than 2 km away, the heading says how far it is.

Tap the picture to open the course page, or Play to start a game there with its usual layout.

Public games nearby

Up to five public games you can join, closest first, with Join. Games you already joined are under My current games instead. See all public games opens the full list. This section needs a connection, so it's hidden without signal.

News from Hyzeer

Short news from the Hyzeer team, near the bottom so it never pushes your games down.

• An unread message has a New mark. Tap Got it and it goes away; it doesn't come back.
• All news lists every message, also older ones. Opening it marks them as read.
• After an app update, the news about the new version opens by itself once.
• News is saved on your phone, so you can read it without signal.
