My discs
The Discs tab keeps track of the discs you own, which ones are in your bag, and the labels that help you get lost discs back (Lost discs).
Bag, collection and all discs
At the top of the Discs tab, choose what to see:
- Bag: the discs you carry. Advanced scoring offers these first.
- Collection: every disc you own, in the bag or not. Tap the bag button on a disc to put it in your bag or take it out.
- All discs: the disc catalog kept up to date by Hyzeer, with flight numbers from the manufacturers.
Search by name, nickname or brand. Filters narrow the list by type, flight numbers, brand, status (owned or lost) and favorites; Show retired brings back retired discs. Sort by type and speed, name or the date you added them.
Add a disc
Tap Add a disc.
- From the catalog: search for it; small typos are fine (e.g. "buz" finds the Buzzz). Choose the disc, change the colour to the one you have, and add a nickname (e.g. "My lucky Buzzz") and private notes (plastic, weight, where you bought it) if you like. Tap Add disc.
- Not in the catalog? Tap Add it by hand and enter the name, brand, type, colour and, if you know them, the flight numbers.
You can add the same disc more than once. Adding discs needs a connection.
The disc page
Tap a disc to see:
- Its flight numbers (speed, glide, turn and fade), its stability and an approximate flight path for a right-hand backhand throw.
- Label: whether a finder can reach you through it. See Lost discs.
- Found reports about this disc.
- Games where you threw it with advanced scoring, with the number of throws.
What you can do there:
- Favorite with the star.
- Put in bag or Take out of bag.
- Edit disc to change the colour, nickname, notes or the flight numbers of a disc you added by hand.
- Mark as lost, and Mark as recovered when you have it back.
- Retire (sold, given away, broken): the disc is hidden from your bag and collection, but stays in your old games. If it has a label, you can deactivate the label too. Find it again with Show retired and tap Un-retire.
- Delete disc: only for a disc you never threw in a game; a thrown disc can only be retired. Deleting deactivates its label.
Without signal
Open the Discs tab once with signal, so your discs are on the phone for advanced scoring. Without signal you can see them, but changes need a connection.
Who sees my discs
Only you, unless your profile is public: then others see the discs you own, in the bag and in your collection, without nicknames, notes, labels, or lost and retired discs. With Show my throws and discs to others turned off in your profile settings, others don't see which disc you threw in a game.
